Vibrations of the Earth

Immerse yourself in this paradise offering a wide variety of breathtaking panoramas, lush vegetation and landscapes perfect for hiking and trekking all year round, from the 65 metres of Lake Garda up to the 2,254 metres of Monte Cadria…
With a backpack on your shoulders, you can travel back in time walking through the Austrian trenches of the First World War, be enchanted by the colourful blooms of Tremalzo, famous for its flowering landscapes, or conquer several Trentino lakes at once by hiking the Sentèr dele Greste trail.
The relaxing lakeside walk is completely flat, suitable for everyone and offers stunning views surrounded by forests and nature.
Next time you come to the Ledro Valley, bring her too — your favourite lover, your BIKE!!! Here you’ll find a true paradise made just for you, with more than 200 km of marked routes along forest roads, trails and old mule tracks, suitable both for beginners and for those looking for the adrenaline rush of mountain biking.
Without too much effort, you can cross the valley by taking the cycle path starting from Biacesa, following the southern shore of Lake Ledro and eventually reaching Lake Ampola.
Road bike lovers can explore nearby areas such as Passo Tremalzo and Malga Trat, immersed in the Ledrensi Alps, or ride to the breathtaking cliffs overlooking Lake Garda in Pregasina. You can also cycle towards the village of Storo in the Chiese Valley until reaching the Brescia border at Lake Idro. What do you think? There’s plenty of road ahead!
Emotions on the water
How could you not make the most of the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ledro? Every day, late in the morning, a gentle breeze rises between Pieve and Mezzolago, creating perfect conditions for enjoyable outings, with winds gentle enough for beginners to approach these sports safely…
At the lake beaches you can rent windsurfs, wakeboards, sailboats, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks or SUP boards, a new way to find peace and tranquillity. Paddling while standing on a board gives an incredible sense of freedom and allows you to cross Lake Ledro while discovering hidden coves and secluded beaches.
This experience should be enjoyed early in the morning, when the lake is perfectly calm and the day begins to awaken… let the waves carry you away!
Head in the Clouds
It’s great to return home relaxed, but sometimes you also need a pinch of madness! You could try new experiences in close contact with nature and challenge yourself in different situations…
For example, canyoning. Near Lake Ampola there are two true gems offering pure adrenaline: the Palvico stream and the Rio Nero. Experienced guides will help you discover nature’s hidden side!

Childhood Memories
What was your favourite holiday as a child? Lake Ledro is the perfect place for your family!
Carefree days spent playing, diving into the crystal-clear waters of the lake and breathing fresh mountain air while enjoying child-friendly walks such as Ledro Land Art, the Ampola Biotope or listening to the sound of the Gorg d’Abiss waterfall…
By taking part together in the activities organised by the Pile Dwelling Museum, families can travel back in time and discover the flavours and traditions of the past, carefully preserved and passed down through generations by the people of the valley.
Inside the hotel bar there is a special children’s corner with toys, colouring books and board games for the whole family. Outdoors, you will also find a private green garden with a trampoline, swing and slide, and by teaming up, you can even challenge each other to a fun football match!
All that remains is to write down the memories of this holiday…
Wrapped in Winter
The Ledro Valley changes its cloak and reveals another side of its nature. No longer filled with bright colours, birdsong and butterflies fluttering around us, but instead with the crunch of snow beneath your shoes and snow-covered mountains reflected in the sleeping lake…
Before warming up again by the fire with a steaming cup of mulled wine in your hands, enjoy the clear winter days by walking through the woods or taking a moonlit snowshoe excursion.
Families with children are welcome in Tremalzo for sledging fun! Plenty of excitement awaits you!
During the Christmas season, Trentino also transforms into a magical place among villages and mountains, where lights, decorations, wooden stalls, the scent of mulled wine and Christmas songs make the wait for the most beloved holiday of the year truly special.
Like in the Old Days
The taste of Trentino milk is so delicious because cows graze freely in unspoiled meadows. The cheese is equally rich in flavour and awakens cherished memories within us…
To discover the history and flavours of the Ledro Valley, you can take a journey through time starting from the Pile Dwelling Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where many activities are organised for both adults and children.
The Garibaldi Museum and the trenches of the First World War allow us to relive important moments of history, while the Foletto Pharmaceutical Museum amazes visitors with the aromas and flavours of syrups and liqueurs made from plants and fruits gathered in our precious territory.
In the nearby restaurants, you can taste dishes linked to ancient traditions, such as potato polenta, Ledro cheeses, local meats and Bohemian gnocchi.
